With record sales plummeting, Garcia churns out yet another clunker

After the spectacular failure of his "Say No More / Constant Concept" mumbo jumbo nonsense "artistic" CD, Garcia tries yet again to reinvent himself a la David Bowie, with only a fraction of Bowie's talent, total lack of charm, and a headful of dubious substances. He had succeeded, however, in attracting a cult following of the disenchanted American/british gloom wannabes in Argentina, where he is revered along with other losers such as maradona and juan and eva peron. Expect no hits from this turkey. While he seems to try to crawl away from the mess he wound up in with his previous CD ("Say No More"), nevertheless it is a brave attempt, although a failed one at that. All tracks here are songs, not very good ones, but songs nevertheless. It contains none of the absurd oddities from "Hija De La Lagrima" or "SNM". It's probably good for one listen, but I'd be surprised if anyone with any taste in real music of any kind, would venture to play it a second or third time. Maybe you would, just to reassure yourself that it is truly the bad album you thought it was, and not the result of a bad meal. Skip this one.

i am very jealous of my music, for me there is either trash or good music noting in between, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lou Reed,
Leonard Cohen: these types of artists are what i call good music,
and unfortunatly the fact that not all english speaking people also speak spanish 'they are missing a man who is right up there with the best of them,
my advice to you: 1. learn spanish 2. listen to charly Garcia
